U.S. Consulate General Copenhagen informs U.S. citizens that, according to local media reports, a shooting incident occurred early Friday evening outside of Tivoli Gardens. It is unclear if the shooter is still at large. Police closed off the area and indicate there is no evidence to suggest the incident was terrorism-related.
Please be advised to avoid the area surrounding Tivoli Gardens and HC Andersens Boulevard. Monitor local media for updates, and exercise caution if you are in the vicinity.
