On Saturday, March 25, organizers from the Copenhagen branch of the Unite for Europe campaign will walk from St. Alban’s Church (the Anglican Church in Copenhagen) to the British Embassy to demonstrate against BREXIT. The protests are scheduled from approximately 1400-1600. We anticipate the size of the protest to be approximately 200-300 people. A police presence is expected and traffic will be delayed along the planned route.
Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. You should avoid areas of demonstrations and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations.
Review your personal security plans, remain aware of your surroundings, including local events, monitor local news stations for updates. Maintain a high level of vigilance and take appropriate steps to enhance your personal security.
