The U.S. Consulate General, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance if a Request for Proposal (RFP) for:
DESIGN/BUILD SERVICES FOR ELECTRICAL SAFETY REMEDIATION PROJECT AT THE U.S. EMBASSY COPENHAGEN, DENMARK
The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price Design/Build Construction Type Contract in the third quarter of calendar year 2023.
The successful offeror shall provide professional design and construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the requirements of this contract within the established timeframe.
The United States Department of State (DOS) Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) requires design and construction services for electrical safety remideation project at the U.S. Embassy Copenhagen, Denmark. The successful offeror shall perform all required design works and construction services including furnishing all labor, material equipment and services required to complete the project.
Short project scope description:
The project will include modernization of outdated U.S. Embassy electrical systems from the basement through second floor (3 floors total). This work include tracing and labeling all branch circuits from existing electrical panels, removing, and replacing all old wiring systems to existing two wire receptacle devices and wall switches. All work shall be performed with consideration to heritage status and hazardous material mitigation requirements local to the work areas complying to Danish and U.S. standards. The receptacles and wall switches shall match the recent installation of similar new devices.
