Lockheed Martin meets with over 80 Danish companies

Lockheed Martin International Vice President for Europe, Jonathan Hoyle and 37 other executives from Lockheed Martin spent three days in Denmark meeting with Danish senior leaders and over 80 Danish companies from 16 to 18 May, investigating areas for partnership. The capstone event of the visit was a dinner hosted by the Danish company Grundfos at Frisholt Manor in Bjerringbro attended by the U.S. Chargé d’affaires for Denmark, Laura Lochman, Mr. Hoyle and Major General Henrik Lundstein from the Danish F-35 program, along with many Danish CEOs. All four mission areas of Lockheed Martin (Rotary and Mission Systems, Missiles and Fire Control, Aeronautics, and Space Systems) were represented and many opportunities for Danish businesses to collaborate with Lockheed Martin were identified for further development. This is the largest business development event that Lockheed Martin has ever executed anywhere in the world and it clearly identifies their recognition of the importance of Danish-Lockheed Martin cooperation in light of the recent Danish decision purchase 27 F-35s.
