Demonstration Alert: U.S. Embassy Copenhagen, Denmark (August 8, 2023)
Location: Parken Stadium, Per Henrik Lings Allé 2, Copenhagen
Event: The FC Copenhagen football team will play a Champions League match at 8:00 p.m. against the Sparta Prague team. FC Copenhagen fans plan to march starting at 6:15 p.m. from the Svanemøllen station, through the Østerbro neighborhood, and end at Parken Stadium. Local police will monitor the situation. As a general precaution, we remind all U.S. citizens to remain vigilant if in the area as these events can be unpredictable and physical altercations could occur.
