On May 10, Ambassador Alan Leventhal hosted a Town Hall meeting with U.S. citizens resident in the Kingdom of Denmark. Ambassador Leventhal and members of the U.S. Embassy team welcomed approximately 200 attendees to the event held on the lawn at Rydhave, the official U.S. Ambassadorial residence. During his remarks, Ambassador Leventhal spoke about U.S. Mission priorities and goals for the U.S.-Kingdom of Denmark relationship, including expanding cooperation in the areas of defense, security, trade, investment, scientific research, education, and culture.
Underscoring that the U.S. government has no higher priority than ensuring the safety and security of U.S. citizens abroad, the Ambassador emphasized the U.S. Embassy’s commitment to supporting U.S. citizens and their families resident in the Kingdom of Denmark – whether it be to renew a passport, register the birth of a new child, answer questions on voting abroad, or other issues of concern for U.S. citizens.
